We help individuals and companies, whether in Panama or abroad, with residency and work permits, contracts, companies and real estate, and matters before public authorities. We work through document review, virtual consultations and written filings, and we tell you from the outset which steps require someone to be present in Panama.

Which of these
describes you?

Clarity from
the first enquiry

  1. Initial assessment

We review your enquiry, check for conflicts of interest and tell you whether we can take the matter on, what deadlines apply and what is needed.

  2. Written proposal

Scope, fees and third-party costs listed separately, plus what is not included. Nothing starts until you accept it.

  3. Remote preparation

Documents, filings and strategy are handled by email, video call or messaging, and you review them before anything is filed.

  4. Filing and follow-up

Filing with the relevant authority, tracking of deadlines and progress updates until a decision is issued.

If you are not in Panama

Many steps can be taken under a power of attorney granted to the lawyer. Not all of them: some procedures require the person concerned to appear in person. We determine this case by case before committing to the engagement.

What we do not promise

Outcomes, approvals or timeframes: they depend on the deciding authority. We will tell you frankly what we see as feasible, what we do not, and why.

Legal career since 1993

Nelson Ruiz Pinilla began his career in the Panamanian public sector. His experience in State institutions gives him first-hand knowledge of how an administrative file is processed and how it is read by those who must decide it.

That experience, together with his training in administrative law, shapes how Juriscorp works: careful analysis, well-built documents and deadlines under control.

Before you
get in touch

Do I need to be in Panama to get started?

Not for the assessment or for preparing documents, which are done remotely. Some procedures require the person concerned to appear in Panama; we tell you before accepting the engagement.

Does sending an enquiry commit me or create an attorney-client relationship?

No. The enquiry helps us assess whether we can help. Before accepting a matter we check for conflicts of interest, and the engagement is formalised only through a written proposal that you accept.

What should I send at the start?

A short summary, the country you are in and, if there is one, the date of a notice or deadline. Do not send passports, full case files or health data through the form; if needed, we will ask for them through an agreed channel.

How are fees set?

In a written proposal based on the scope of the matter. Fees are listed separately from third-party costs such as government fees, apostilles, translations or notary charges.

In which language will my matter be handled?

Proceedings before Panamanian authorities are conducted in Spanish, and foreign documents usually need an official translation. Tell us in your enquiry which language you prefer; in our reply we will confirm whether we can work with you in that language or whether an interpreter or translator will be needed.

Which matters do you not handle?

We do not currently offer criminal defence, employment litigation, boundary disputes or agrarian proceedings, electoral matters or naturalisation. If your enquiry does not fit our services, we will tell you.
